Washington homeowners don't need another sales pitch about their roof — they need someone who shows up, explains what's actually wrong, and fixes it right the first time.
Before Roof Repair Smedway was a name on a truck, our foremen were already up on ladders across Washington, GA, figuring out which shingle brands actually hold their seal through a rough season and which ones just look good in a showroom.
Ask to see our Washington, GA license and insurance certificate and you'll have it in your hand before the estimate even starts.
Every Commercial Roofing job, from a single flashing repair to a full Washington tear-off, gets built to the same standard: the one that holds up, not the one that's fastest to invoice.
Documentation on request, no exceptions.
A midnight call gets the same urgency as a noon call.
You approve a number before the crew touches your roof.
Crews dispatched from within Washington, GA, not another region entirely.
Catching a roof problem at the "annoying" stage is almost always cheaper than catching it at the "emergency" stage.
None of the six signs below require an emergency call on their own, but each one is worth a scheduled inspection before it turns into something bigger.
Shingles shed their protective granules as they wear down, and a gutter full of grit is an early tell.
A cupped shingle traps moisture instead of shedding it, which speeds up decking rot underneath.
Pinpricks of light in the attic are an early, fixable version of what becomes a leak later.
A spreading brown ring on a ceiling almost always means water is tracking in from somewhere on the roof.
A slow leak or failing ventilation can quietly drive up cooling costs before you notice the leak itself.
A bare patch after high wind is a direct gap in your roof's weather barrier that needs covering right away.
Whatever the issue — emergency, routine, or somewhere in between — it gets handled by a crew that specializes in that exact type of work.
Read through the categories and you'll usually recognize your own roof problem in one of them — that's intentional, since we scope calls the same way we've organized this list.
When wind or hail rips open a section of roofing, we tarp it fast to stop water intrusion, then schedule the permanent fix right behind it.
From a few cracked shingles to a complete tear-off, residential jobs get scoped against manufacturer spec, not a rough guess.
We schedule commercial jobs to minimize disruption to tenants and foot traffic wherever possible.
We'll tell you honestly whether your roof needs a full replacement or just a targeted repair — we don't default to the bigger invoice.
Post-storm inspections give homeowners documented evidence, useful whether or not a claim gets filed.
If your roof has an architectural quirk, we scope it personally rather than forcing a standard fix.
Four steps, no surprises in between — here's exactly what happens after you pick up the phone.
A dispatcher logs your address, roof type, and the problem, then schedules based on urgency.
The inspection covers decking, flashing, and ventilation, not just the obvious visible damage.
An itemized estimate is delivered before any work starts, covering materials, labor, and cleanup.
Warranty paperwork is handed over the same day the job wraps.
We could list a dozen more reasons to work with us, but these six are the ones Washington homeowners mention most often when they leave a review.
Being local means we're rarely the crew still driving in from somewhere else.
The number you approve in writing is the number on your final invoice, barring an approved scope change.
Crews carry moisture meters and proper fall protection on every job site.
If the finished work doesn't match what was agreed, we come back and fix it at no charge.
We've worked with enough local carriers to know what actually speeds up claim approval.
Some roofs need a full reroof; plenty just need one honest repair.
Our guarantee covers our labor specifically: if the completed work doesn't match the agreed scope, we correct it at no extra cost.
We also guarantee the number on your estimate — barring a scope change you approve first, that's the number on your invoice.
If you ever need to use the guarantee, the process is a phone call, not a fight.
We stage crews across Washington, GA so a storm hitting one part of the region doesn't leave the rest of Washington waiting.
Because our crews already know Washington's layout, we rarely lose time to a wrong-turn delay that out-of-area companies deal with constantly.
Homeowners just outside Washington proper sometimes assume they're too far for a standard visit, but our dispatch radius usually reaches further than people expect.
